In the early 1980’s Ian Dunford Limited were jewellery retailers with a number of shops trading in the Yorkshire area. Like many independent retailers there was frustration at the constant problem at being unable to acquire stock quickly and also at a competitive price.

A decision was made to dispose of the shops in order that the company could focus on providing jewellery retailers with a comprehensive range of 9ct Gold and Sterling silver products at competitive prices with availability from stock.

In March 1989 Ian Dunford Limited opened the doors at their new Leeds based premises.

The company has now developed into a successful mail order jewellery distributor supplying independent jewellery retailers within the United Kingdom and Europe.
